Hi, I'm Sarah.
I get a creative rush from solving complex problems, streamlining messy systems, and making things not only look good, but feel effortless to use. I live by the phrase “jack of all trades, master of none” which, to me, means always learning, staying scrappy, and building delightful, functional experiences.
My creative journey began in college making short films. When film felt too rigid, I pivoted to graphic design. Then came animation. Eventually, I found myself craving something more holistic, something that blended all my skills, and that’s when I discovered UX and web design. That’s where I found my creative sweet spot.
This mindset lets me wear a lot of hats (and I genuinely love it). Here’s what I’m up to right now:

Professional Work: Web & Digital Media Specialist for RIT’s Enrollment Marketing team (shoutout to my amazing teammates).
Entrepreneurship: Co-owner of BetterCo., a modern art jigsaw puzzle company I run with my husband. We make puzzles that are as pretty as they are challenging, currently selling on Amazon, Etsy, and through our Shopify store.
Professional Development: Earning my Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Marketing, and Project Management from RIT. It’s a customized program I designed to target areas I want to grow in.
Community Engagement: Board member of two local non-profits: Madison Friends of International Students and Friends of the Madison Public Library. I also built and maintain both of their websites.
Personal Interests: I lead a mystery book club at my local library, dabble in too many hobbies (so many I started a Substack about them), and can usually be found walking my dog, Scout, while listening to history podcasts, gardening, or going to weekly trivia.
